Briggs and Stratton Generators 71212 Details and Specifications
100 Amp 16 Circuit Load Center Transfer Switch
The Briggs and Stratton 100 Amp Load Center Transfer Switch (ATS) has a NEMA 3R enclosure for indoor and outdoor use. This single phase 2-pole generator transfer switch supplies power from the generator to the most critical and essential circuits during a power outage. The included Air Conditioning Control Module (ACCM) manages either one or two central air conditioning units.
Operation: When the power goes out, the generator starts within a few seconds. The ATS disconnects the transfer switch circuits from the utility lines and then connects the generator, restoring power to essential and critical circuits just seconds after it goes out.
Briggs and Stratton 100 Amp 16 Circuit Automatic Transfer Switch
The Briggs and Stratton 100 Amp 16 Circuit Automatic Transfer Switch is an important part of your generator system. A permanent connection to your home's electrical system allows your Briggs and Stratton standby generator to operate automatically. A standby generator installation requires an automatic transfer switch.
This UL Listed 1008 ATS does not include power management—the ability to manage loads according to the power available. It only supplies power to circuit breakers within the transfer switch enclosure.
