Champion 22kW Maintenance Kit
Champion OEM Maintenance Kit for 22kW Home Standby Generators includes two spark plugs, an oil filter, and air filter.
Keep at least one kit on hand and ready to perform scheduled maintenance during long power outages. If you live where long outages are common, two might be required for maintenance during and after a long power outage.
Performing maintenance on time—changing the plugs, oil, and filters—extends the life of the generator and reduces the chance that it will need costly repairs. Maintenance keeps your generator ready to start and run throughout an extended outage. The last thing you need is an outage to hit during a blizzard or severe storm and the generator won't start because the spark plugs are long overdue for replacement.
Champion recommends maintenance every two years or 100 hours, whichever comes first. Dirty environments or high temperatures decrease the service life of oil and filters.
