Cummins Power Generation P5000IDF EFI Details and Specifications
Cummins 5000 Watt EFI Generator Dual Fuel Inverter
3900 Watts 5000 Starting Watts RV Ready TT-30R Outlet Clean-Safe Power ≤3% THD
EPA, CARB Emissions: For Sale in California
The Cummins 5000 Watt Generator is a dual fuel inverter portable EFI Generator (Electronic Fuel Injection). Remote Start makes it easy and convenient to use. The 3.4-gallon fuel tank keeps the generator running on gasoline for 12.5 hours at 25% rated load or 15 hours on propane with a standard 20-pound tank (tank not included). Equipped with a Carbon Monoxide Sensor with automatic shutoff for safety.
Parallel Ready: Run two inverter generators in parallel for more power with the Cummins Parallel Kit.
Use the Remote Fob from your RV or the Push Button start for easy, trouble free startup of the 224cc OHV 4-stroke engine. The Onan P5000iDF EFI rolls over most terrain on 5.5-inch wheels with the telescoping handle. At 108 pounds, it weighs less than many generators of equal power.

EFI Generator Benefits
The Onan P5000iDF EFI Generator uses less fuel than a carburetor engine. It operates at altitudes up to 13,120 feet on gasoline without high altitude gasoline jets. Propane use at high altitudes requires the High Altitude Regulator Kit A073Z778. The EFI Engine reduces environmental impacts with lower emissions and an evaporative filter.
This generator runs longer on the same amount of fuel as a traditional carbureted engine of the same size.
Cummins Onan P5000iDF EFI Carbon Monoxide Detection and Shutdown
Cummins equipped this EFI Generator with a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The Onan P5000iDF EFI is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The Cummins Onan P5000iDF EFI Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the Cummins Onan Owner Manual and Safety Decals, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home. Use Battery Operated or Battery Backup CO Detectors.
Read the Owner Manual Before Use. Obey all safety instructions and all safety decals on the generator.
