The RXSC200A3 Automatic Transfer Switch is a single-phase switch designed for use with Generac standby generators in non-service-rated applications. As a whole-house switch, it requires the use of a main disconnect between the meter and the switch. Generac designed the ATS for generators with Evolution or Nexus Controllers. The generator controller manages ATS functions and transfer commands.
Digital Power Management allows a smaller, more fuel-efficient generator to handle heavy loads including air conditioners and water heaters through prioritized load shedding. As higher priority loads complete their cycle and shut off, lower priority loads start and run.
The RXSC200A3 Smart A/C Module controls up to four air conditioners or other 24-Volt controlled loads. Optional Generac Smart Management Modules enable power management to control eight more 240-volt loads. With a properly sized generator, power management controls up 12 individual loads.
