The Generac Solar Inverter connects the PWRcell Battery Cabinet and Batteries to the home’s solar panels, home electrical circuits, and to the incoming utility lines via the PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch. The bi-directional RE-Bus inverter implements efficient design for zero-export, backup power, self-supply, and energy cost management with the most feature-rich inverter available to homeowners.

While connected to the grid, the Solar Inverter has a 7600 watt maximum continuous power rating at 120/240-Volts AC 60 Hertz and a continuous output current of 32 Amps and a starting current of 50 Amps. In the grid-tie configuration, the inverter will charge battery storage from the grid as necessary. Typical inverter nighttime power consumption is less than 7 watts.
In Island mode with a transfer switch, the PWRcell Solar Inverter provides up to 9kW of continuous AC Power from a single, battery cabinet with 6 batteries. A two cabinet system with at least batteries can provide up to 11kW.
The PWRcell inverter boasts less than 2 percent Total Harmonic Distortion and a switchover time of less than 1 second.
