Generac PV Link Substring Optimizer with SnapRS
Rapid shutdown requirements in the 2020 and 2017 NEC (NEC 690.12) require isolation of the Array. PV Link adds compliance to the new NEC codes. Make quick connections with MC4 connectors to the SnapRS Rapid Shutdown inline disconnect switches.
Older MPLE arrangements are no longer necessary in 90 percent of installations. A typical rooftop scenario with PV Link and SnapRS requires just 10 connections versus 22 with MPLE. Reduced hardware and connections mean fewer points of failure while handling complex rooflines and variable shading scenarios efficiently while maximizing power output.
