Generac Power Systems APKE00028 Details and Specifications
The Generac PWRcell Battery Cabinet houses Generac Battery Modules to store 9kWh to 18kWh of energy from a solar array, the grid, or both. Each APKE00028 Battery Cabinet holds 3 to 6 PWRcell EX or DCB Battery Modules(3 kWh usable energy per module) for 9kWh to 18kWh storage capacity. The system easily expands from three to six batteries. The PWRcell cabinet requires a minimum of three battery modules with a maximum capacity of six. Add a second PWRcell Battery Cabinet and expand the total system capacity to 36kWh.
Flexible configuration fits a wide range of applications for large and small homes or buildings. Install indoors or outdoors. With a total capacity of up to 36kWh (two cabinets + 12 batteries) and a 50-amp starting current, Generac PWRcell reduces grid reliance and ensures a continuous supply of electrical power.
Generac PWRcell Clean Energy Whole Home Power Systems store energy from solar panels and from the electrical grid. If a power outage occurs, the PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch disconnects the grid and supplies power to the home from battery storage. Battery cabinets are rated for a maximum 9kW continuous power and 6.7kW nominal. A full cabinet with six batteries provides up to 50-Amps Peak Motor Starting Current for 2 seconds and starts a 3-ton air conditioner.
Outdoor Rated with NEMA 3R Cabinet and an operating temperature range of 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (optimal 41 F to 104 F.)
The PWRcell Battery Cabinet includes a 10-Year Warranty. Battery Modules include a 10-Year 7.56 MWh warranty.
