CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Automatic Shutdown
DuroMax CO Alert, a safety feature, automatically shuts off the generator if it detects Carbon Monoxide—before it reaches unsafe levels. Position your generator at least 10 to 20 feet from your home with the exhaust pointing away from all buildings.
The DuroMax XP12000HX Owner Manual specifically states that the generator may not be run indoors.

Excellent customer service.
I ordered my generator from Norwall. Unfortunately it was damaged when the shipping company delivered it. I called Norwall and they dealt with the issue immediately. She arranged for someone to pick it up the next day. My new one arrived about two weeks later. Fortunately this one was damage free. I was impressed with their service and highly recommend them.

DuroMax Portable Dual Fuel Generator — 12,000 Surge Watts, 9500 Rated Watts
We purchased a DuroMax Portable Dual Fuel Generator — 12,000 Surge Watts, 9500 Rated Watts over 2 yrs ago. We have run it thru 2 hurricanes and one high wind event. Probably a total of 15 days, 24 hrs ea. It has run flawlessly. And starts almost immediately with the elec. start. I have had to replace the battery, as the one that comes with it is a "tinker toy." I can't say enough good things about this gen. It runs like a champ. The one problem I have with it is the sound. The muffler does a poor job. But just like my air compressor I will be adding a car muffler to it. This gen. runs our entire house, and my drag race car building shop and a 220 volt deep well pump. It does not run the hot water heater, the A/C, or my 220 volt air compressor. (10/6/2022) Jack & Oleta
