Generac PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch
The PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for 100-Amp service in homes or commercial installations. A Whole House automatic switch powers the entire home including air conditioners and other heavy loads.
The Generac PWRcell Transfer Switch is an open transition transfer (1not service-entrance rated.) Compatible with the Generac PWRcell 7.6kW Inverter. and PWRcell 3.0kWh Battery Modules, and the PWRcell Battery Cabinet.
PWRcell Transfer Switch Features
The Non-Service-Rated ATS has a powder-coat painted aluminum NEMA Type 3R enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation. A heavy-duty Generac contactor recognized by ETL islands the home from utility power during an outage to allow backup power from the PWRcell batteries and inverter.
The Generac 7.6kW PWRcell Inverter handles all ATS functions including load management, power outage sensing, and signaling the transfer switch.
The PWRcell 100 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch CXSC100A3 has a 5-year limited warranty.
Generac 100 Amp ATS Load Management
Generac integrated HVAC management into the CXSC100A3 Automatic Transfer Switch to control 24-VAC contactor loads like air conditioners. HVAC management controls up to four air conditioners without additional hardware. When the thermostat turns on an air conditioner which exceeds capacity, it prevents the air conditioner from starting. It can also stagger heavy load startup.
Adding external Smart Management Modules2 (SMM) allows the load management systems to control up to eight additional heavy loads like electric water heaters, well pumps, and more. Loads deemed unnecessary can be locked out in backup power mode. Load management provides the essential loads with power while enabling less important loads to run when power is available. Generac PWRcell Load Management with HVAC and SMM control make it the most installation efficient power management option available.
