The Generac 100 Amp PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is rated for homes or commercial applications with 100-Amp utility service and a PWRcell Battery Storage System. This whole house automatic switch powers the entire home including air conditioners and other heavy loads
This Generac ATS is an open transition transfer switch rated for service entrance installation. Compatible with Generac PWRcell 7.6kW Inverters and PWRcell Battery Storage Systems.
PWRcell Transfer Switch Features
The Service Rated ATS has a powder-coat painted aluminum NEMA Type 3R enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation. An ETL listed heavy-duty Generac contactor islands the home from utility power during an outage to provide backup power from the PWRcell batteries and inverter.
The Generac PWRcell Inverter handles all ATS functions including load management, power outage sensing, and signaling the transfer switch.
The PWRcell CXSW100A301 Includes a Generac 5-year limited warranty.
Generac 100 Amp ATS Load Management
Generac integrated power management into the 100 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch with the ability to control up to four 24-VAC contactor loads like air conditioners without additional hardware. If the thermostat turns on an air conditioner that exceeds capacity, power management prevents the air conditioner from starting. It can also stagger heavy load startup.
Loads that would overload the system or those deemed unnecessary can be locked out in backup power mode. Load management provides critical and essential loads with power while enabling less important loads to run when power is available. Generac PWRcell Load Management with HVAC and SMM control make it the most installation efficient power management option available.

*PWRcell Transfer Switches Require installation with a PWRcell Energy Storage System. Cannot be used by generator only applications. Installation without a PWRcell Energy Storage System will damage the switch and void the warranty.
