Norwall Review: Worst Customer Service
Norwall review, not Generac...I ordered a 24kw Generac Standby Generator from Norwall on 2-17-21 with a 6-8 week delivery. Got an email at the end of May that said another 8-12 weeks for delivery, but they could send a 22kw, I said send it. The freight company delivered it in the middle of my driveway and left without me there to inspect and sign for it. Good thing I have the equip to move it from the driveway to the back porch where it sat (approx. 30 days) until I had time to prepare my concrete pad. Mind you, I was extremely careful to not damage anything but when I unboxed it and moved it from the porch, there was an oil stain under the pallet. While I was lifting it to set on the concrete pad, I noticed there was damage to the pad that the generator sets on and when removing the front panel, I noticed oil in the bottom pan of the generator. When I reached out to Norwall, I was directed to a lady named Sharon @ ext 220 who was quite possibly the RUDEST customer service representative I've ever spoken to, who told me there was NOTHING they were going to do to help me since I had waited past the 30 days to inform them of an issue. I told her I was not there to sign for it, she said when I moved it ( from the middle of my driveway) I accepted responsibility. I told her, even if I were there, I wouldn't have seen the damage to the bottom as it would need to be suspended in the air to inspect the underside . She said there is nothing that her or the delivery company would do and hung up on me. Sharon is a horrible individual that has no business being in customer service.

Had to refuse delivery
Generator was dislodged from corner mounting hardware in the crating - exterior of generator itself was bent out of shape. As per the invoice I had no choice but to refuse shipment. I do have the Genpad

Delivered as promised!!
After ordering the Generac 22kw generator and making payment I discovered some poor reviews mostly concerning receiving damaged shipments. Upon researching the Norwall site I found unlimited information related to inspecting and receiving my generator. So much that I thought this must really be a major problem and I was worried that I might inadvertently accept a damaged product. With all this said the whole process was extremely smooth and exactly as advertised. The check payment process to save a few percent worked perfectly. The ship date was within the delivery time promised and the carrier was superb. When the R&L Carriers truck arrived I immediately explained to the driver that I was having anxiety about receiving a damaged product. He couldn’t have been more professional and courteous in taking his time to explain the process and to help me with inspecting my shipment. I’m super satisfied with Norwall in that they delivered everything promised during the purchase process and prepared me in the event my shipment might have been damaged. My advice to future buyers, be patient through the purchase and shipment process and do you homework to be knowledgeable about process for rejecting damaged goods.

As the Electrician i sell these Generators through my account. i needed to change a credit card number, VERY simple right! you would think so. I have 6 bought generators on my account, numerous others not on my account. you would think because i was a loyal customer your staff would be more accommodating. May be time to move on.
