The Champion inverter generator 4500 Watt is one of the lightest portable inverter generators in the industry. The 212cc generator engine provides up to 14 hours of run time. CO Shield detects dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide and shuts down the generator. Use with a Champion Parallel Kit* and a second generator* to double your power. The 5-Mode Intelligauge displays voltage, frequency, and operating hours. Economy mode adjusts engine speed to match power use—reduces noise, fuel consumption, and engine wear.

At 92 pounds, the Champion Generator 4500 is one of the lightest 4500 watt generators in the industry. It's easy to move around with 2 never flat wheels and a fold-down handle.
This inverter runs up to 14 hours at 25% load on 2.25 gallons of fuel. The 212cc engine puts out just 61 dBA noise, about the same as everyday conversation.

CO Shield Automatic Carbon Monoxide Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Alert, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide. It meets ANSI/PGMA G300-2018 Requirements.
The Champion Generator 4500 is for Outdoor Use Only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Shield shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The Champion 4500 generator owner manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the Champion Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.
