DuroMax 13000 Watt Generator
The DuroStar 13000 Watt Generator powers 120-Volt and 240-Volt loads through multiple outlets. Connect to a manual transfer switch inlet box for home backup through the 30-amp or 50-amp receptacles for Home Backup Power during outages or blackouts.

The DuroStar DS13000MX Generator with Pushbutton Electric Start and a powerful 500cc engine supplies all the power required for Home Backup during outages or blackouts. Powers air conditioners, furnaces, critical appliances, pumps, lights and conveniences. For applications with intermittent power use, idle control runs the engine at low speed until power is needed to improve fuel economy and reduce noise. Low oil shutdown protects the engine if the oil runs low.
Remote or Pushbutton Electric Start for easy, fast setup. Turn on the battery switch and push the start button on the remote fob or panel. Generator starts automatically. Push the start/stop button and the generator shuts down.
The Digital Multimeter displays voltage, frequency, and hours run.
Dual Fuel operation allows the engine to run on gasoline or Propane. Rated for 10500 running watts on gasoline and 9975 running watts on LP Propane. DuroStar recommends a minimum 40-pound LPG tank. Achieve longer run times with larger tanks.
All metal construction means no plastic parts to break. The 13000 Watt Generator stands up to heavy duty use in tough environments from camping to jobsites and home backup power needs.

DuroMax CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Automatic Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Alert, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts down the generator when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The DS13000MX generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Alert shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The DuroStar DS13000MX Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the DuroStar Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.
