Modbus to Ethernet
The Modbus Converter can connect a single device to the ethernet network, or multiple devices connected using RS-485 connections and then connected to the ethernet network with the Modbus Converter. Any remote PC on the ethernet network can monitor the devices through the converter. Another method connects each RS-485 device to the network using a modbus converter for each device.
The Modbus to Ethernet Converter supports the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) trap commands to report faults and events communicated by the controllers.
Note: See the attached Kohler Modbus Ethernet Converter Specification Sheet for supported controllers and other details.
