The Könner & Söhnen 4000 Watt Inverter Generator is an exceptionally quiet source of clean electrical power. Könner & Söhnen Carbon Monoxide Detection and Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with Carbon Monoxide Detection and Shutdown. When the sensor detects carbon monoxide, it shuts down the generator.
The KS-4000iEHS inverter generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The Carbon Monoxide shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The Könner & Söhnen Inverter Generator Owner’s Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20 feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the Könner & Söhnen Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.

KS-4000-iEHS 4000 Watt Generator
The KS 4000 iEHS 223 cc 4-stroke engine runs on gasoline or propane and produces up to 7.5 horsepower. The 4000 watt generator weighs 88 pounds. Enjoy up to 7.8 hours runtime on the 3.2 gallon tank. Run time on propane varies according to tank size.
