Next-Gen Power Systems NPS4500 Details and Specifications
Next-Gen NPS 4500 Generator
The Next-Gen NPS 4500 Generator is a 5 percent pure sine wave inverter generator for RV Power—a first for onboard RV generators. The Yamaha gasoline engine produces 10.4 net horsepower and uses just 0.29 gallons per hour at half load and 0.12 gallons per hour at no load. Rated output is 37.5 Amps at 120 Volts.
The generator design is both lightweight at 185 pounds and compact at29.33 x 21.46 x 16.1. It meets National Park Service requirements for noise and has USDA Forest Service approved spark-arresting muffler.
Microprocessor control includes fault, overload, and overcrank protection. Remote start with a FOB from up to 50 Yards / 150 Feet Away. Use the pull cord for manual starting.

NPS4500 RV Generator Warranty
The NPS4500 Inverter RV Generator comes with a 3 year / 2,000 hour limited warranty. This robust warranty covers all parts and labor for the first two years, then major parts and labor on the drive train and generator parts for the third year. Next-Gen Power Systems has nationwide coverage and is there to help post-sale.
4500 Watt NPS Generators
Inverter technology allows for a better, more efficient design. The engine turns an alternator that produces alternating current which the generator rectifies into DC. An inverter converts the current back to a cleaner, more stable alternating current. This design improvement allows an alternator to spin at a lower speed which reduces wear and lowers fuel consumption because the engine runs at a lower speed. When the load increases, the engine speed can increase to provide additional power.
Another design improvement is the remote start with pull start backup. If your battery goes dead, you don’t need a second battery to jump start the generator. A quick pull on the starter cord and you should be up and running (and able to recharge your battery).
Next-Gen 4500 Hot Weather Generator
Generators that run in hot weather overheat and then shut down to prevent engine damage. It’s not easy to keep a generator cool, especially in an enclosed in its own shell which is then mounted inside a metal box on the RV. With a specially designed air intake that provided improved air flow, the NPS4500 stays cool even in the hottest weather.
Next-Gen tested the NPS4500 for over 1500 hours in Death Valley during the summer where scorching temperatures reach up to 134° F.
The 4500 Watt Next-Gen meets all CARB and EPA requirements for sale and use in all 50 states.
Meets National Park Service rules for noise and is equipped with a USDA Forest Service approved spark arresting muffler.
