The Duromax 4850 Watt Dual Fuel Hybrid Generator with CO Alert is a 3850 Watt / 4850 Watts Max Portable with Electric Start. Dual Fuel capability allows the XP4850HX to operate on either gasoline or LP propane. CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Detection shuts the generator down if Carbon Monoxide reaches unsafe levels.

A full featured power panel includes outlets, circuit breakers, USB charging ports, and controls including electric start, digital command center, low oil sensor light, and recharge indicator.

CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Automatic Shutdown

DuroMax CO Alert, a safety feature, automatically shuts off the generator if it detects Carbon Monoxide—before it reaches unsafe levels. CO Alert does not allow the generator to run indoors, with or without the windows open. Never run a generator in an enclosed space. Always use a Carbon Monoxide detector in your home. Position your generator at least 10 to 20 feet from your home with the exhaust pointing away from all buildings.

The DuroMax XP4850HX Owner Manual specifically states that the generator may not be run indoors.

The DuroMax XP4850HX 4850 Watt Generator easily powers 120-Volt and 240-Volt loads through multiple outlets including 4 GFCI Household receptacles. Connect to a manual transfer switch inlet box for home backup through the 30-amp or 50-amp receptacles or connect the RV and  power air conditioners, fridge, and more.

The XP4850HX Generator with Push Button Electric Start and a powerful 210cc engine supplies plenty of power for home backup during outages. Powers air conditioners, furnaces, large appliances, and pumps, plus lights and conveniences.

Dual Fuel operation allows the engine to run on gasoline or LP Propane. Rated for 3850 running watts on gasoline and 3658 running watts on LP Propane. DuroMax recommends a 20-pound LP *propane tank for extended run times.

A new digital multimeter displays voltage, frequency, total hours run, and hours until the next recommended maintenance. Change fuel types with the turn of a knob and easy LP Propane connection on the front control panel.

The XP4850HX fuel tank holds 4 gallons of gasoline and provides up to 10.4 hours of runtime at a 50 percent load. With a 20-pound propane tank, the generator runs up to 8.9 hours at 50 percent load. Fuel use varies with the electrical load.
