Westinghouse Portable Generators Features and Benefits
Portable Westinghouse Generators for outdoor recreation, home backup power, and professional applications. Westinghouse Portable Generators from 1200 watts to 12,000 watts power tailgate parties and supply electricity for RVing and camping. They keep refrigerators cold and sump pumps running during outages and the larger models have the capacity to power your entire home. On the job, they run air compressors, tables saws, heavy-duty drills and keep the battery-powered tools charged and ready.
Westinghouse Portable Generators come with a 3-year residential warranty and a 1-year commercial warranty. All the portable generators have Westinghouse 4-stroke, overhead valve (OHV) engines that meet EPA and CARB requirements for all 50 states. Many are CSA compliant for use in Canada.

Westinghouse Inverter Generators
Ultra-quiet, fuel efficient, and eco-friendly Westinghouse Inverter Generators represent the latest in portable generator technology. Other generators can’t compete when comparing to noise levels and fuel economy.
Regular portable generators run at a constant 3600 RPM to maintain the 60 hertz frequency and sine wave required by North American appliances, tools, electronics, and lighting. Westinghouse Inverter Generators use electronics to output a near-perfect waveform at the required frequency with minimal distortion. Instead of a constant speed, the engine only runs fast enough to generate enough power to meet the current load requirement. As loads increase, so does engine speed. At minimum load, they run at the slowest speed necessary. The result is they use less fuel, make less noise, and last longer.
Highlighted Westinghouse iGen Inverter Generators Models and Features
- With less than 3% Total Harmonic Distortion and Automatic Voltage Regulator, Westinghouse Inverter Generators supply clean power that is safe for Electronics. Every model has two 5-Volt DC USB Charging Ports.
- LED Indicators for Low Oil Condition, Overload, and Output Ready. If the oil runs low between checks the generator shuts down and lights the Low-Oil LED. An Overload causes the Reset Breaker to Trip. After starting, the Output Ready LED shows when the generator is ready for use.
- Exceptionally Fuel Efficient. Westinghouse Inverter Generators sip fuel and keep the noise down
- Parallel Capable* with other iGen Inverters using Optional Parallel Cord (WHPC.)
- Exceptionally Quiet 52dBA** sound level allows normal conversation just feet away and exceeds the National Park Service Requirement of 60dBA measured at 50 feet. Won’t disturb you or your neighbors at home or while camping and RVing.

Westinghouse Portable Generators
Traditional open-frame portable generators with features that match their purpose. It starts with a Westinghouse four-stroke OHV engine matched to an alternator unit. A control panel provides information via meters and LED indicators. The main circuit breaker protects the generator from overloads, while individual outlet breakers protect connected appliances, generator cords, and extension cords. The engines employ a low-oil sensor and shut down to prevent damage. Pulse-Flo mufflers reduce noise. Spark-arresting exhaust prevents fires.
Built on a sturdy tubular frame for durability. Models with a wheel kit move easily across paved surfaces and grassy lawns. EPA and CARB Compliant, Westinghouse Portable Generators are suitable for sale and delivery to all 50 states including California.
