Briggs & Stratton 10kW Standby Generator 16-Circuit Transfer Switch
A Briggs & Stratton 10kW Standby Generator restores power to your home during utility outages. Standby Generators are Automatic and start in any weather (including hurricanes), day or night. Whether you’re at home, away on vacation, or sleeping in your bed, the 10kW generator senses a power outage. Within seconds, the generator starts and signals the 100 Amp 16-Circuit Automatic Transfer Switch. The ATS switches from utility to generator power, and the house has electricity.
Where temperatures fall below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, install Briggs and Stratton Cold Weather Accessories. Cold weather accessories allow easier starts in temperatures below freezing. A warm battery can produce more power than a cold battery for starting. Warm oil lubricates better which prolongs engine life and makes it easier to start. Fuel Regulator warmers prevent icing that could prevent the regulator from adjusting the fuel pressure.
Installation requires the use of a Carbon Monoxide Detector inside the home to guard against CO Poisoning.
This Briggs & Stratton 10kW Standby Generator is NOT rated for Prime Power Applications.
