The generator set incorporates a digital voltage regulator, frequency regulation and a single-pole 25-Amp Circuit Breakers. The Cummins 2800 Onan Generator weighs just 125 pounds and has a compact design of 22 inches x 16.3 inches x 12.8-inches high. Includes 50-inch generator set output leads and sealed remote start connector.

Not for a motorhome- NO stars!
This generator was installed in y Dynamax REV motorhome from factory. On my first trip, I'm in Sedona, AZ and it won't start. I come to find I need an altitude kit. I get the part number from Cummins and order it at the local supplier. When I get the part, the instructions have you go through a process of draining the carburetor and installing this screw. Reading further, I find out this whole process has to be reversed when below 7,500 ft which means every time you go back to sea level, you have to remove the kit. This is not something you want to go though each time. In fact instructions say the kit should be installed by the dealer. This generator is not appropriate for an RV. You can't possibly expect someone who is on vacation is going to go to a dealer to install and remove this altitude kit. That's ridiculous! When I travel, I could be in the mountains one day and the beach two days later. Someone at Cummins sold a bunch of these generators to DYNAMAX and they installed them in all their REV motorhomes. No I can't go higher than 5,000 ft cause my generator won't start. Go figure. Don't buy this generator for an RV!

The purchase of my new generator from Norwall PowerSystems was very smooth. After opening a new account with them, I received a gift card and reduced price. The generator and my other items were delivered on my driveway without any problems. The tail pipe took a little bit of work but after cutting to new size it works fine. Here is a list of all the items that was necessary to retrofit my new generator to the old kv compartment and remote starter-hour meter.
