Briggs and Stratton Generators 71052 Details and Specifications
Symphony II Low Voltage Module
For Thermostatically Controlled Appliances NEMA 4 Enclosure
The Symphony II Low Voltage Module manages thermostatically controlled appliances. Works with air conditioners, heat pumps, or other appliances controlled by a low-voltage thermostat based on a user-defined priority. By managing multiple heavy loads, Symphony allows a smaller generator to provide power to an entire home by prioritizing the order in which loads run.
Briggs and Stratton Low Voltage Modules only work with a Symphony Transfer Switch. User assigned priorities determine the order in which appliances or circuits receive power. For example, a second air conditioner might have a lower priority than the primary air conditioner.
The remote module can be installed wherever it is convenient, indoors or outdoors. Low Voltage modules connect inline with the appliance and thermostat contactor wiring.
Note: Not for use with 16-circuit or pre-wired transfer switches.
Includes a Briggs and Stratton 3-Year Limited Warranty
Symphony II Power Management
Symphony II Power Management automatically balances the power requirements of your home’s electrical loads with the needs of your family. Enjoy uninterrupted, whole-house power with a more affordable home generator.
With Symphony II Power Management, select up to eight high-wattage appliances based on your family’s specific power needs. Symphony manages the distribution of power from the generator to those appliances automatically. Symphony load management ensures the generator won’t overload so your family's daily routine continues uninterrupted.
If a high priority load—an air conditioner, for example—is running, Symphony only allows another managed appliance to start if generator can handle the additional load. If the generator is already near maximum capacity, the additional load must wait until the air conditioner finishes running.
