Winco Manual Emergency Transfer System 30 Amp
The EmergencyTransfer/Service System allows your Home Power generator to be quickly and safely connected to a building electrical panel for backup service during a power outage. A weatherproof NEMA 3R hinged lockable enclosure contains a 12-foot cord with a standard NEMA L14-30 twist-lock plug and stores the cord set when not in use. A quality Square D circuit breaker load center with interlocked generator and utility main breakers to prevent feedback to the utility installs next to the building electrical service panel.
The Emergency Transfer Service System includes a UL approved Square D manual power isolation swtich. When properly installed it will safely disconnect the normal power service from your home emergency electrical circuits and reconnect them to a portable generator. It is not designed to transfer your whole electrical system, only selected circuits you need powered during a power failure (furnace, refrigerator, freezer, minimal lighting).
System Includes:
• Manual Transfer Center, rated Nema 1 for indoor installation only. Manual Transfer Center has a load center for customer to install (2) 240V breakers or (1) 240V and (2) 120V breakers or (4)120V breakers. The load center uses standard Square D Circuit Breakers.
• Exterior 'J' (junction) Box for connections and cord storage, rated Nema 3R for outdoor installation includes 12 Ft., 30 Amp, Four Wire Cord with the plug installed, Nema L14-30 Twist Lock
