Briggs & Stratton 12kW Generator
A Briggs & Stratton 12kW Generator restores power to your home during utility outages. Fully automatic, it works in any weather including hurricanes, day or night. Whether you’re at home, away on vacation, or sleeping in your bed, the 12kW generator detects a power outage. Within seconds, the generator starts and signals the automatic transfer switch. The ATS switches from utility to generator power.
Where temperatures fall below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, install a Briggs and Stratton Cold Weather Kit. The Generac Cold Weather Kit allows easier starts in temperatures below freezing with a battery warmer and oil heater. In below freezing temperatures, the battery warmer provides more power for starting the generator. Warm oil lubricates better which prolongs engine life and makes it easier to start.
Installation requires the use of a Carbon Monoxide Detector inside the home to guard against CO Poisoning.
