Champion 50 Amp Load Management Module
The Champion 50-Amp aXis Load Management Module controls power to your heavy loads like air conditioners, water heaters, and electric ranges. Power Line Carrier Technology reduces control wiring and simplifies installation. Use with any high current appliances including 120-Volt, 120/240-Volt, and 240-Volt loads. Choose from four priority levels ranging from “must have” to “might be nice” to prevent non-essential appliances from overloading the generator and keep your most critical heavy loads running.
aXis Load Management Module
Champion rates the aXis Load Management Module at 50 amps. Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology simplifies installation by eliminating control wiring. The LMM installs in-line with the appliance and communicates with the controller through the existing wiring.
Managing heavy loads allows small and efficient generators to supply backup power to a home during a power outage. Without management, the average home would require a larger and less efficient generator to operate essential loads like heating and air conditioning and well pumps.
Prioritized loads run when power is available based on the assigned priority. For example, the electric dryer might wait until the air conditioner shuts off before the load management system allows it to run. Unnecessary loads that never need to run on generator power are locked out and won’t run until the utility restores power.
