The Champion Tri Fuel Generator runs on Gasoline, Natural Gas, and Propane** for maximum flexibility. Up to 12.5 Hours run time on the 8.5 gallon gasoline tank and 5 hours on a 20-pound propane tank. The generator package includes a 25-foot Natural Gas hose and a 6-foot propane hose with built-in regulator. The 8000 Watt Champion Tri-Fuel Generator meets ANSI/PGMA G300-2018 requirements. CO Shield shuts down the generator if carbon monoxide reaches a dangerous level.

The Control Panel features the engine On/Off ignition switch, Intelligauge Display, EZ Start Dial, LPG/NG Inlet Port, and the Propane/Natural Gas Selector. All four outlets have covers for protection from the weather and circuit breakers to protect from overloads.
CO Shield Carbon Monoxide Automatic Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Shield, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The Champion 8000 Watt Tri Fuel generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Shield shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The Champion Generator Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the Champion Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.
