The Tri Fuel DuroMax 16000 Watt Generator is the Largest Inverter Generator in its class and one of the quietest at just 66.9 dB. Designed for home backup, XP16000iHT has a 744cc V-Twin OHV Engine for plenty of power. It boasts two 50-Amp Receptacles for connection to a home transfer switch and features remote start for convenience. CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Shutdown ensures safe operation.
The XP16000iHT Tri Fuel runs on Natural Gas, Propane, or Gasoline—up to 14.5 hours at 50% load on propane when connected to a 100-pound tank*. On the ground, it moves easily on four wheels and two sets of fold-down handles (front and rear.)
This generator has two standard household GFCI Duplex Outlets with 20-Amp Breakers, and two 50-Amp, 120/250-Volt Outlets with 50-Amp Breakers. Parallel capable to run with a second generator for a staggering 108.33 Amps at 240-Volts—More than enough to run central air, electric dryer, water heater, well pump. The clean power output ensures you can run your medical equipment and all your electronics.

DuroMax XP16000iHT CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Detection and Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Alert, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The 16000 Watt Inverter Generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Alert shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The DuroMax XP16000iHT Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the DuroMax Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.
