The DuroMax XP28000iHT is the largest portable inverter on the market, capable of powering your entire home including central air conditioning. Tri-Fuel generator runs on Natural Gas, LP Propane, or Gasoline. It is Home backup ready with two 50-Amp outlets for use with generator transfer switches.
Remote Start makes startup and operation a breeze.
The 12.7 gallon gasoline capacity runs the generator up to 16 hours at 25% load or 9 hours at 50% load. A 60 pound propane tank* operates the generator up to 18 hours at 25% load or 10 hours at 50% Load. Natural Gas offers a virtually unlimited supply of fuel—Check oil at least once every 24 hours. Powered by a 999cc DuroMax OHV Engine featuring forced air cooling and load dependent variable speed.

XP28000iHT Generator CO Alert Automatic Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Alert, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The DuroMax XP280000iHT inverter generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Alert shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The DuroMax 28000 Watt Generator Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from buildings and preferably downwind.
According to the DuroMax Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector on each level of the home.
