The DuroMax XP5500E is a 4500 Watt / 5500 Watt Max Portable Generator with Electric Start. All metal construction stands up to the toughest tasks yet moves easily over rough terrain.

A full featured power panel includes all circuit breakers and controls including keyed off/on/start, voltage meter, low oil sensor light, and recharge indicator. The unique MX2 Power Boost selects full power 120/240-Volt or 120-Volt operation.

The DuroMax 5500 Watt Generator easily powers 120-Volt and 240-Volt loads through multiple outlets plus 12-Volt 8-amp posts for charging a battery or powering 12-volt light appliances. Connect to a manual transfer switch inlet box for home backup through the 30-amp receptacle or hook up the RV to power air conditioners, fridge, and more.

For RVs and household appliances, the MX2 switch changes from 120/240-Volt operation to 120-Volt operation, doubling the amps available for 120-volt appliances and RV connections. Take full advantage of up to 37.5 Amps at 120 Volts with 45.8 Starting Amps.

The DuroMax XP1000E 3.9-gallon fuel tank provides up to 8.9 hours of runtime at a 50 percent load. Fuel use varies directly with the electrical load.
