The Generac Mobile Link WIFI / Ethernet Accessory connects to your home network over a WIFI or wired Ethernet connection for fast download speeds, automatic system upgrades, and generator status notifications. The Mobile Link accessory works with the Mobile Link service to provide the homeowner with essential generator status information 24/7, wherever the homeowner may be.

The Mobile Link WIFI / Ethernet Accessory upgrades older generators that didn’t come with WIFI Mobile Link. It works with most Generac, Eaton, Honeywell, and Siemens air cooled or liquid cooled generators made in 2010 and later up to 150kW. (Not compatible with PowerPact Generators)

Get real time notifications via the Mobile Link mobile app or through the website dashboard. See changes in generator status, when they happen. If the power goes out, you’ll know its out and see the generator restore power to the house. When it’s time for service, the mobile app lets you know and so you can schedule or contact the service dealer—right from the app.

Regular maintenance takes place at one year, two years or 200 hours, and four years or 400 hours. Who’s going to remember it when the times comes? With Mobile Link from Generac, notifications about required maintenance come right to your mobile app. And you can use the app to contact your service dealer directly.

Get even more peace of mind with a dealer managed service plan. Work out a service and maintenance plan with your dealer. After you agree, follow the instructions in the confirmation request email from Mobile Link. That’s it. Your service dealer will monitor the generator and receive an alert if something goes wrong or the generator needs maintenance. They’ll handle the maintenance or the service according to service plan.

The Mobile Link WIFI / Ethernet Accessory comes with Generac’s 1-Year Limited Warranty. The 7170 Accessory replaces any onboard WIFI functionality which must be disabled before installation. Most generators with Evolution controllers have built-in WIFI, but not ethernet. Standard Subscription plan required from 49.99 annually or 4.99 per month—dealer subscription plans and agreements not included.
