The Kohler 100 Amp Transfer Switch with 12 Space Load Center. Designed for use with generators equipped with an RDC2 controller. Rated for indoor use only with a NEMA 1 Steel enclosure.
Load center circuit breakers distribute power to the home's circuits. When an outage hits, the generator's RDC2 controller starts the generator, then signals the automatic transfer switch to move the source of power from the utility to the generator set. After the utility restores power, the transfer switch returns to utility power and the generator begins its shutdown cycle.
Excellent for automatically restoring power to critical and essential circuits during a power outage.
