The Kohler 14 kW Standby Generator with RDC2 Controller and RXT 200-Amp Automatic Transfer Switch is a complete automatic home backup generator system. 10 Seconds after the power goes out, the Kohler 14kW generator automatically restores power to your home’s major appliances, air conditioner, and all the lights and conveniences. Will start and run a 5-ton air conditioner while keeping the rest of the house powered.

14kW Kohler Generator has a V-Twin 725cc 4-Cycle engine for reliable power in any weather conditions and exceptional power for starting heavy loads. Hydraulic lifters eliminate costly adjustments and long break-in periods. The Kohler 14 kW provides an exceptional 33 kVA peak motor-starting capacity for large motors like air conditioners or deep well pumps without interrupting power to other parts of the house.
Excellent power quality with digital voltage and frequency regulation and low harmonic distortion for sensitive electronics like computers, modern appliances, and home medical equipment. The RDC2 controller manages the generator and the transfer switch.
An RXT 200-Amp Automatic Transfer Switch rated for service entrance use and outdoor installation automatically controls the source of power for your home and isolates generator power from utility power lines. The whole-house switch ensures power to all your home’s essential and convenience circuits. Refrigerators and freezers stay cold, pumps run when it should. The furnace and air conditioner keep the home warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
