6kW 24V DC Generator Automatically Recharges Battery Banks for Renewable and Off Grid Energy Systems
Designed specifically for renewable energy and other remote applications, the Kohler 24V Generator with variable speed Command Pro engine maintains battery banks directly without conversion. The engine speed changes with the load to save fuel while reducing engine wear and noise.
Set the 24V DC Generator to turn on when the battery banks drop below a preset level to automatically recharge and maintain battery banks. Also starts and runs on a signal from the inverter. Works with Positive or Negative grounded systems.
The Kohler Command Pro engine operates at 2300-2900 RPM, slower and quieter than fixed speed generators. It runs on either Natural Gas (NG) or Propane (LP) fuel.
