The Kohler Generator Cold Weather Kit ensures reliable starts in below freezing weather. Recommended for Kohler 20kW Generators wherever the temperatures fall below 32 degrees.
Cold weather reduces available power from the battery and cold oil makes the engine harder to turn over, a combination that adds up to difficult starts. Moisture in the fuel line can freeze and block fuel from the engine.
The 120V GM101603-KP3-QS Accessory Kit improves starting a generator in cold weather. A battery warmer maximizes power. The oil heater allows the engine to turn easier with less wear and better lubrication. The breather tube heater and fuel regulator heater prevent frozen moisture from freezing the fuel line and air breather tube.
Each heater turns on and off as needed in cold weather for reliable starts all winter long.
